Celebrating the lives of Bessie and Hans, their love for the arts and their support to foster the development of new artists. Bechtler Ensemble led by granddaughter Tanja Bechtler, highlights a cornucopia of late romantic composers including Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Ottorino Respighi, Franz Schubert, and Giacomo Puccini.


Each composer left an indelible mark on the development of music , shaping the evolution of the romantic and the 20th-century styles through their unique contributions.


Erich Wolfgang Korngold, is known for his highly and dramatic music for film scores.

Ottorino Respighi reimagined and orchestrated music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods as well as creating programmatic masterpieces.

Franz Schubert, is known as a master of writing melodies not only in his beautiful songs, called lieder, but as well as in his chamber music and symphonies.


Giacomo Puccini is known for creating memorable arias that have become iconic as well as timeless in the world of opera.
